The Bible is the Living and Active Word of God

The Bible is just a bunch of myths?

Ezekiel speaks to the thriving seaport city of Tyre around 580B.C. He tells the city in Ezekiel 26: 12,14: They will plunder your wealth and loot your merchandise; they will break down your walls and demolish your fine houses and throw your stones, timber and rubble INTO THE SEA...14 I will make you a bare rock, and you will become a place to spread fishnets. You will never be rebuilt, for I the LORD have spoken, declares the Sovereign LORD .

Why would anyone throw a city into the sea, yet hundreds of years later, Alexander the Great lays seige to the city. The inhabitants flee to an island just off the coast. Alexander is forced to push the city into the sea as to form a causeway to it. That is why the land is so flat, and as bare as a rock. Today, the area is inhabited by small fishing villages, where the fishermen spread out their fishnets.

Humans have desires and solutions to those desires:
We hunger, there is food;
We thirst, there is water;
We long for rest, there is sleep;
We long for a being greater than ourselves, there is God.

If there is no God, where did we develop this desire for 'gods' that we have had all through history? Is it that hard to believe? He's waiting.

I highly recommend, to everyone, the book "Letters from a Skeptic" by Dr. Gregory A. Boyd. It answers 29 very prominent and prevalent questions people pose to Christianity.
